ADO .NET Entity Framework "No Confidence Vote" Signature Count

Back when the ADO .NET Entity Framework Vote of No Confidence petition emerged (approximately on 6/23/2008), I thought it would be interesting to track how much momentum it gained over time.  After about a month of being published, the signature count has tapered off:

I'm not drawing any conclusions from this...  I just find this cross section of the data interesting.  I suppose most petitions follow a similar curve.
