I just discovered this genre in Rhapsody: Japanese Noise Rock.  It's exactly the type of thing I love stumbling across from time to time.  One of the bands, Zeni Geva is sweet.  Rhapsody's description of them: "Uncompromising Japanese noisecore that's slow, yet utterly crushing".  They're annoying as hell and I love it.  Melt-Banana's Bambi's Dilemma album is decent too.
