Advanced Halo 2 Techniques

I stumbled across a quick and useful video of some advanced Halo 2 multiplayer techniques (download link below). I'm starting to get into a Halo 2 mode again and this video spurred a little more interest. I thought it was going to be a snoozer when it started out with some melee tips, but got interesting with some melee combos (just something I never really thought of). Some good demos of sword dodging and sweep sniping. Produced with a great Nine Inch Nails remix behind it.

Some good stuff in there (esp. blocking a plasma pistol) but it's easy to do when someone is just standing there.

I'm sure I'll use some of these on you tonight :P

That guide is no longer posted... I was looking forward to picking it up too...

Does anyone have another link, or possibly we could hook up via email or Yahoo/MSN/AIM and transfer????

FYI - I've got tons of great stuff for the Xbox... I have uploader status on several well know bittorrent sites....

just sweep the targeting circle across an enemy's head. time it right and fire at just the right moment.

it's generally easier to sweep-snipe a moving target than to try and align your targeting circle over the enemy's head constantly.

with the sweep technique you're just trying to intersect the target with your line. with following a target continuously, it requires a very, very, very steady hand which is more difficult.

I don't think you have to take the instruction literally. The main idea is to anticipate pulling the trigger as you move. It'll feel like you're shooting just a hair before the reticle actually crosses the target.

it said to fire then put your reticle over the head lol doesnt make sense to me. is what your saying fire exactly when the reticle is on the head? anyway im such a noob but i need to get better, right?
